Most wedding stress doesn’t come from the big things. It comes from the small things the stuff you forget about until three days before the event. The signing table that ends up looking bare. The favour cards that never got ordered. The welcome board that nobody thought about until guests were already arriving.
This is a checklist of what most families actually need for a nikkah and mehndi, broken down by event. And where it makes sense, I’ve linked to the bundles we put together specifically so you’re not hunting for each item separately.
What Goes on the Nikkah Signing Table
The signing moment gets more camera time than almost anything else at a nikkah. Both families gather around, the qazi does his thing, and then both bride and groom sign. Every photographer focuses on this. Which means everything on that table will be in the photos and video, and it should look like it was actually thought about.
Three things go on the table:
- The nikkah certificate, framed. Not just printed. Most families who order a certificate also get it framed because it ends up displayed at home afterward anyway. We’ve written before about what couples usually personalise on theirs: names, dates, and sometimes a short verse, if you want to get a sense of what’s worth adding before you order.
- The signing pen. This gets more attention than people expect. The pen is in the frame when the certificate is photographed. It’s held up, it’s in close-ups, it matters. If you’re not sure what style fits your theme, we put together a buying guide for nikkah pens that walks through the different types.
- Sweet toppers. The small “Qubool Hai” cutouts that go on the mithai plates around the signing area. Easy to forget, nice to have.
If you want all three sorted in one order framed certificate, pen, and sweet toppers our Nikkah Certificate and Dip Pen Deal puts them together at 33% off. Everything is customised with your names and date, and we share a proof on WhatsApp before printing anything.
There’s also a more embellished version with a crystal border on the frame and a silver pearl pen for families who want the signing table to look genuinely premium in photographs. That’s the Luxury Nikkah Certificate and Pen Deal, at 27% off.
The Entrance: Welcome Board and Contract Display
A lot of families skip this entirely and then notice on the day that their venue entrance looks plain in photos. A welcome sign with the couple’s names and the date is a small thing that makes a visible difference both when guests walk in and in the photographer’s establishing shots.
For a nikkah, you often need two boards: the welcome sign at the entrance, and a nikkah contract board near the signing area so guests can read the terms. Getting both designed, printed, and displayed takes some planning. You also need a stand, and most people don’t think about that until the last minute.
Our Welcome Board and Contract Board Deal covers both 16×20 inch boards, a 150cm wooden easel stand, and 5 photo props as a bundle at 31% off. Both boards are personalised with your names, date, and city. The easel is solid enough for outdoor setups too; we’ve had families use it at garden weddings without any issues.
Mehndi Favours: The Part Guests Actually Talk About
Favour culture at Pakistani weddings has shifted. Guests don’t get excited about generic mithai in a tissue anymore. The events that get talked about afterward are the ones where the favours were actually thoughtful: bangle cards, chocolate cards, jhumka earrings, and sonf cones. These things get photographed, shared, and remembered.
The problem is putting together 50 or 60 individual items without spending the whole week running around for them. That’s what the bundles below fix.
For Smaller Gatherings: Dholki, Mayun, Intimate Mehndi
The Mehndi Favor Cards and Tray Deal covers 4 types, 15 pieces each: shahi meva cards, bangle cards with bangles, sonf cones, and chocolate cards. All presented in a wooden tray, at 48% off. This is a complete setup; you don’t need to add anything.
For Bigger Weddings
The Wedding Favor Cards and Tray Deal goes wider. 6 types with 10 pieces each (60 items in total): chocolate cards, tasbeh counter cards, jhumka cards, bangle cards, shahi meva cards, and sonf cones, in a wooden display tray. The tasbeh counters work, and the jhumkas are real and wearable, not just decorative. This one is 22% off.
Both bundles include card customisation with your names and event date, and we confirm the layout with you on WhatsApp before printing.
Why Bundles Save More Than Just Money
The discount is part of it, but the bigger thing is coordination. When you order a nikkah certificate from one place, a pen from another, and sweet toppers from a third, you’re managing three different delivery timelines and hoping everything arrives before the day. One of them will be late. Something will be wrong.
We design and produce everything in our Lahore workshop. So if something needs changing a frame colour, the text on a favour card, the certificate layout it’s handled by the same team that made it, not passed along. And we ship carefully packed to anywhere in Pakistan, and internationally if needed.
If you want a more complete picture of everything that’s typically involved in a nikkah ceremony not just the products, but the sequence and timing we also put together a nikkah ceremony checklist that covers things in a bit more detail.
